Cookie Tower

This activity is a great way to learn data-collection skills in a fun way.

Materials:

• Small cookies

• Paper

• Pen

• Computer

Procedure:

1. Stack the cookies in a tower as high as possible and record how many cookies were stacked once the tower falls.

2. Repeat step 1 multiple times until there are many data points.

3. Find the mean, median, and mode of the data.

4. Use the computers to create a graph of the data.

5. Compare the data and graph between the groups.
